ECM develops its international network within the Meetings Industry

European Cities Marketing appoints Johanna Fischer as ambassador for the ECM Academy, the newly established course dedicated to strengthening the education standards of Meetings Industry professionals worldwide.

Johanna Fischer, managing director of tmf dialogue marketing, will represent European Cities Marketing in India and promote the ECM Academy there, using tmf’s renowned expertise in digital channels and contacts in the market.

ECM has already sealed a partnership with tmf dialogue marketing since 2013, creating a series of successful marketing activities in the Indian outbound conference, meetings and incentive markets in major cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune and Bangalore) and gathering more than 300 clients during each promotion. “The originality of this workshop series relies on the wide range of communication, telemarketing and social media activities, giving ECM a complete promotion platform consisting of event buildup and followup. The ECM Academy is a tailor-made course for partner organisations outside Europe such as convention bureaux, hotels, PCOs, DMCs, airlines, conference venues, congress centres, convention and exhibition centres, and governmental bodies looking towards to a global promotion of the Meetings Industry. It is a highly successful concept; young people get acquainted with the fundamentals of the Meetings Industry with a practical training approach developing concentration, teambuilding, interaction in a full immersion course.
