Description
Tampere is a prime example of a safe and modern Nordic city and a leading congress location in Finland. Academia and international enterprise flourish in this dynamic centre of industry, culture, research and education.
Tampere is superbly equipped to accommodate international meetings of all kinds. Tampere Hall, the largest purpose-built congress and concert centre in Scandinavia, comfortably accommodates congresses of up to 3,000 delegates – as do the city’s more than 20 hotels.
All services, including conference venues, hotels, shops and restaurants, are within easy walking distance of each other in and around the city centre. When the day’s business is done, a startling range of theatres, concerts, bars and restaurants provides excellent opportunities for entertainment and socializing.

Tampere is easily accesible. It is located in Southern Finland, 175 km north of Helsinki. There are excellent flight connections to Finland and Tampere from all parts of the world. Tampere has an international airport, served by Blue1/SAS (Star Alliance), AirBaltic, Finnair (One World Alliance) and Ryanair.
