For over four centuries Warsaw has been the Capital City of Poland since the time when Sigismundus III Vasa, King of Poland of Swedish dynasty moved here from Cracow previous Capital City of Poland. Warsaw is a city of rich and dramatic past. Many times turned into a battlefield, razed to the ground during World War II. Presently administrative and cultural centre of the country with population of 2 million people. The Old Town – one of the most popular Warsaw tourist attractions gathering inspiration seeking artists in its picturesque surroundings. The Palace of Culture and Science rated as the Warsaw landmark and its contemporary symbol, the highest building in Poland and the third in Europe 231 high. Congress and Expo Halls fitted with marble floors, crystal chandeliers, mosaics and bas relieve provide sensational ambience to all types of events organized there.
