European Cities Marketing (ECM) provides its members with short-term rental industry data through new partnership with TRANSPARENT

European Cities Marketing, the association for Tourist Boards, Convention Bureaux and City Marketing Organisations in Europe just signed an agreement with TRANSPARENT, a Spain-based specialized data intelligence company that builds and maintains data analytics products for institutions seeking a better understanding of the short-term rental industry.

Operating since 2016 with offices in Madrid and San Francisco, TRANSPARENT has a deep understanding of the latest market trends and works closely with first class Public Institutions, Property Developers, Property Management Companies, Hotels, and other market players.

Under the deal, TRANSPARENT will provide ECM member cities with quarterly reports on top level consumption trends within the European short-term rental market and a more comprehensive yearly special report on the state of the European short-term rental market. All of this being coordinated with the Research & Statistics Knowledge Group to meet the members’ needs. The first edition of the report will be released in July 2019.

Commenting on the partnership agreement, TRANSPARENT’s CEO, Pierre Becerril, declared: “We are delighted to partner with ECM. Sharing info with DMOs and exchanging more in depth on the views of DMOs is certainly essential in understanding how short-term rental market is playing a big role in the visitors’ economy.”

In the frame of the Knowledge Partnership with European Cities Marketing, TRANSPARENT will provide ECM members with a 15% discount on their DMO products prices.
